Hypnotherapy
is a natural, altered state, similar to daydreaming, that induces an extraordinary quality of mental, emotional and physical relaxation, accompanied by intensified focus and increased recptivity to positive suggestion.

Expressive Arts
is a holistic therapeutic process in which imagery, sound, and/or movement is used to access, release and transform emotions.

Both processes directly, easily and safely access the subconscious mind, which is the seat of memory and emotion, and the control center of the autonomic nervous system, which directs physical health and immunity.

When used as an adjunct to healing, the emphasis is on accessing stressful or fear-producing beliefs and emotions, releasing and transforming them in a way that activates the relaxation response. This leads to new insights, inner peace, and healing.
